Hot Day!!!

I had a long day, a doctor's appt. in the morning and then I looked forever for a new purse, I did find one so that was fun. I heard that you all had a fun lunch with Grandma Stephens, I wished that I was there!!!!It has been so hot today and everyone has an allergy. UCK!!!! Happy Father's Day to all our fathers. We are all so lucky and blessed to have wonderful husbands, fathers and brothers and uncles. Count your many blessings and name them name by name. Proud Dad

What can you say when you lose your first born son? I looked forward to my first boy after all my wonderful girls. Such a smart,handsome and spiritual young man from the very beginning. I am lucky enough to have two sons like that. I'll never forget the year when Christian wanted to go every where with me. On the tractor, in the truck, on the motorcycle, he'd even lay on top of me on the couch at night. I'd take a day of that anytime. He served an Honorable mission while in constant pain. He loved his country more than anything but his family. When I went to Oklahoma to see him graduate from basic training both of us were so proud of his accomplishment. He loved being a medic and was so good at it. He was a friend of the underdog. I miss him! I pray that each of us will be worthy to join Christian in the Celestial Kingdom. I thank the Savior for making this possible. The last thing I told him was that I loved him. Love, Dad

Night of the 19th

I have thought of a few things about Christian that were most endearing to me. First , he would bring me flowers from the time he was little until he was older about twice a month to surprise me, he loved and enjoyed nature so much and the beauty that the Lord has placed on the earth, also he would, when I was upset about Dad feeling sick, he would always tell me , don't worry Mom, I will always take care of you, and he did, even his final few details that he did on this earth before he left us for a bit. I love and miss him with all my heart and I know that he is alright and doing good works where he is .I do love you Christian with all my

It's morning and I have had a sweet phone call from Natalie about Christian, how can we help but think of him today. Some sweet memories are in order I think. Today has been kind of a serious thinking day, dad and I walked this morning and then he did some errands. I have been thinking about Spencer and Marissa leaving and I feel sad. TWO YEARS....

Today it has been two years since I have seen Christian, it was father's day and he was here to eat and he was so sick that he asked Dad to give him a Priesthood blessing. It was a comforting blessing. I came across a scripture this afternoon that reminded me of him. 3 Nephi 9:14 Yea, verily I say unto you, if ye will come unto me ye shall have eternal life. Behold, mine arm is extended towards you, and whosoever will come, him will I receive; and blessed are those who come unto me.

Hair----freaky

I am going to do something about my long witches lock in the next few days!!!!!!!!!I have had enough of looking like a dumb grandma. So watch out in the next few days. Who knows maybe it will be worse- that would be hard to believe. Love, Mom and Dad

I am still adjusting to the Lula hair!!

Everytime I pass a mirror I can't believe that my hair is really mine! What a jolt. I have been thinking alot about Christian this week, on Saturday it will have been 2 years. What a long time, hard to believe but it even seems longer than that. I am so thankful for the gospel and it's teachings. We are all truly blessed to know that we, if we do our best will all be together again. That is the only thing that makes this all bareable. I hope that you all in your lives feel the same and I know that you are all doing such good works.I had the very cutest thing happen, Sam asked me the other day if he could or we could get him a book about the prophets. That amazed me. We do miss all of you that have left our glorious prescence (gag) We can't wait to see you soon. Hope HannaH and Elijah are feeling much better. We love you all, Nona and Farmer

OHHHH... MY FREAKIN' black hair

I dyed my hair this evening and it turned out Grandma Lula or someone else that I know that has or had jet black hair, Not you Lacey, it looks kind of cool ha-ha or maybe even vampirish. I am getting excited for our trip

It is hard to believe that we will be leaving in about a month to go on our trip. Marissa made some very good chinese food tonight, so I have given her the earned title of Miss Bok-CHO. iT REALLY WAS GOOD. EVEN DAD LOVED IT. Aimee and Cassie please do your blog okay. What a great day yesterday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was such a wonderful day yesterday with Finn C. having been giving a wonderful blessing by his Father, Dustin. Also, it was Eve's birthday. What could ever be better than these two events? I love all of you so much, and I dread thinking about those that are moving for a time. Our family will be so empty without all of you around. HannaH, we are praying about your cute little heart, and I know that you will be alright. I will put your name in the Temple tomorrow. Keep safe everyone. It was so empty without Lacey and family and also Cassie and family.. I especially do miss your brother , Christian, I am sure he was aware of the doings of the day. He is never far away. Talked with Cassie

I talked to Cassie tonight and she and Chris and the girls are busy putting things away and getting organized. That won't take Cass long, she will have a million projects going in a week. As Grandma Lula used to say the grass wouldn't have time to grow under someone's feet because they always had so many busy things going on. It was something like that!!!Well you know what I mean . I am not the brightest bulb in the lamp tonight. Fact:you have 1 in 600,000 chance of being struck by lightning sometime during your life. See you Sunday!!!!!!! Mom and Dad
