The new update from Jensen's Clinic is that Spencer is vastly improving, upgraded from good to fair. Gary is Updated from Serious to good, and Richard has taken a slight downturn to serious resulting from the uncomfirmed symptoms of shingles at the base of his neck and pain radiating along side his shoulder to the base of his neck. He will visit the nearest doctor that can be found in the morning. Melanie is still just grouchy. Love you all, phone hours are from 9am to 12pm and the 4pm until 11pm. Calls will be appreciated. Love, Nona and Farmer

SICKNESS HITS JENSEN FAMILY!!!
NEWS BRIEF.........Sickness has hit the home of Richard H. Jensen and family, 677 East Rancho Vista Drive on Friday, January 29th 2010.The first reported case of the sickness was reported by Spencer, on Friday, cold like symptoms and a froggy voice, slight fever and general grouchiness were observed by all including Spencer himself. Saturday morning Gary, an uncle woke with the same symptoms without the grouchiness. Richard, has had a temporary sore muscle in his shoulder, which has required a heating pad . Much OJ has been consumed by the family the last few days, which has seemed to help. Melanie has observed just the same compliants as usual in herself. The family has not opened the door to any visitors, due to the quarantine sign posted by the Health Department in St. George. The sign will be posted , until the last symptoms are observed. Best wishes are sent to the family in Northern Utah for their families quick recovery. Love Nona and Farmer

count our many blessings
As I laid in bed today, My back hurting as usual, I read an article about all the doctors, nurses and construction workers that volunteered to go to Haiti. They took as much food and medical supplies as they could. The story went on to talk about how just about the only buildings left standing in Haiti were the LDS church buildings. The church has allowed all members and nonmembers that can possibly fit onto the grounds of the church to stay there. These poor Haitians, who were in poverty before the earthquake, now have nothing. I feel like this may be a test for us, who have so much, to share with those who have nothing. Please donate to "Healing Hands for Haiti" or the LDS church Humanitarian fund. We are so blessed!! Make a contribution in Christian's name. We love you, Farmer and Nona

tomorrow a day at the hospital!!!!!!!!!
Well, tomorrow I have to spend part of the day at the hospital having numerous tests. First an x-ray of me ,don't laugh bending backwards, and then one of me bending forward as far as I can go. I wish that it would be a tech that was about 100 years old so that I won't be so embarassed. This is for my back and then also for my back I have to have some blood work done to be sure that I don't have any infection in my back. When I was in SLC on Tuesday having some x-rays done first the lab lady had a gown and pants, then she went on by after looking at me and brought back a size that would fit about a 700 lb. person, that made me feel great, thank goodness, they were miles to big. I forgot to tell Dad about that one. then also tomorrow I have to have a CAT scan done on my wrist, I feel like I am held together with a small strand of sewing thread. I hope that they fine some answers. Please say a prayer for me okay. Also Dad's one knee has been bothering him to pieces, he could use a few prayers too. Dad was so nice to make me apples yesterday, between me, Dad and Gary we ate the whole bag. We will make some more for you, HannaH and Eve and whoever would like some.Does anyone need some granola bars? When we come up next I will bring them, or maybe send them with Grandma Stephens. We love you lots and lots, Nona and Farmer

Another day of apple making, also sleeping...
I was going to open up a can of dried apples from the cannery, and dad about screamed. So he sent Spencer to the store to get some more apples to dry. So my apple cravings will have to wait until tomorrow. I was in the lying down position most of the day, are you jealous , Ashlee? Nothing to exciting is going on except rain down here. It was so fun to see the kids yesterday. We love you all. Love Nona and Farmer
