Friday night, hope you are all having fun!!
I figured out that I pulled a muscle in my stupid back, so I wasn't in the blog writing mood last night. How are the movers? How come you never answer me?????Fact for the day:Jack is the most popular name in nursery rhymes. Since I have had my back done, I really appreciate my own Mom ever so much more. She is a strong lady and I love her. Love, Nona and Farmer

Tuesday and Wednesday, sorry............
I was recovering from the car ride Yesterday and tonight I thought I'd better get something off to you all on the blog. What is moving where and with who??????????? I am so mixed up by now that I will never be straight. Today Dad bought Gary some suspenders, like the big thick farmer kind, I told Dad that it was too hard to walk wiwth Gary because every 2 seconds he would mess with his belt. I don't think that Gary is very happy with us. Marissa, I am sending you a self-protection manual for your one class, or maybe a pair of boxing gloves. Which do you need or want?Love ,Farmer and Nona

The great big car ride!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Today was my first after coming home car-ride. We went to Cedar City to sign some papers and then we drove out to NewCastle...I thought that it was Enterprise. I am happy to now know what the name is. The land was sage-brush and on one side of us lives a very nice Mexican family, we are still trying to decide what to do. Also we went to the ER because I thought I had Mersa in part of my back, the DR. thought it didn't look like it , but gave me some Septra stuff for it. Then we had a nice 1 hour nap and did dinner etc. How is the moving business coming or going? Fact; Bic pens were originally to be named after Marcel Bich but marketers chaanged their minds and dropped the "h" when they thought about how the name might be pronounced in America!! What is going on with all the MOVERS!!!!!!!!!
Today, I have wondered all day what is going on with all the prospective MOVERS, Do not reply if it is bad news, just kidding. Tonight Spencer is at a dance with K. Pretty soon the summer will be here, and then no more high school dances for the Jensen Family. Cry-Cry, I am serious. Fact: the Price Is Right, on the air consecutively since 1972, is TV's longest-running game show.We love and miss you all so much. Love Nona and Farmer

Friday, another quiet weekend..................
We had this wonderful lady in our ward bring us the best dinner tonight. It was the best. Gary has raved and raved about it. Also Happy Anniversary to Aimee and Zach. It has been 13 years hasn't it? I hope I am right. You are a great couple, and are raising some of the cutest, smartest children that I have ever seen. We love you all very, very much. Love, Farmer and Nona

It has been three weeks since slice time
I has been three weeks since I had the BACK slicing. I feel really pretty well most of the time. I know that I have been really blessed. Marissa, guess what Brother and Sister Buenning brought to me. One dozen rew/white roses. They are so beautiful. He is a puzzling man, but he has been so nice to me , also Sister B. Gary said that he had asked about me in church last week. I must be getting popular-haha. I love you all but one rule must be enforced:NO MOVING for at least 35 years okay. I think that that would work out great. I promise that we will come up more and more. I think that we have been doing fairly well. Fact of the day:Charles Roser invented the Fig Newton. Also. There are 118 ridges around a dime. 119 around a quarter. Do you feel more intelligent? I do. We love you all, Nona and Farmer

Some progress.......
I walked for 1/2 hour tonight which was a long one-timer. Sommeone brought us some good food tonight and we all enjoyed it very much, especially Gary. Dad also planted some more flowers, they are going to be beautiful. They are moss-roses and pansies. I am looking forward to going on another car ride-maybe.Here is a new fact for the moms,,,,,the happy little boy on cans of Play-Doh is known as Play-Doh Pete.. Pretty nifty. Love Nona and Farmer

We planted some flowers today.
Well, Dad has Spring fever today. Someone brought me some mums last week and Dad has planted them today, then yesterday when we were at Harmons, we saw some beautiful pansies, and brought them home and planted them. So today when Dad was out and about he bought some moss roses and this afternoon we planted them in the big cement pot that Aimee and Zack gave us one year , they will look so pretty. We have a few more pots to plant and then that is IT! We also have the roses in the back yard. Here is kind of a garden -outside joke. It takes a skunk three weeks to crank out one ounce of foul odor!!!!! I thought the boys would like that fact: I love you all and wish you a Happy St. Patricks Day tomorrow, especially Marissa, Love, Nona and Farmer

I actually rode in the thing called a dar today!
We had fun on our few errands this morning. My back was stiff, but it was fun to be outside in the automobile. I just walked once around the neighborhood this afternoon. What all is going on up in the Northern areas? I need more blogs. Here is a fact that I found: 548 peanuts are needed to make a 12-ounce jar of peanut butter. Love you all!!!!!!!Nona and Farmer

Our 36th wonderful anniversary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Today is our 36th anniversary. I can't really believe it. It seems so much shorter, than that . They have been good great years. Some hard times ,but mostly great ones. I wouldn't change one thing , even Dad, He is a wonderful and caring person and I am such a lucky and blessed person to have him as my husband. He is funny, caring, compassionate, empathic, loves his children, loves his grandchildren, loves Gary and takes such wonderful care of him, Honest, clean with his speech, keeps his priesthood covenants. and at any time can give someone a Priesthood blessing. Rolled all up in one he is absolutely PERFECT11111111111111 I hope that we can be together with you all forever. I love you, Rick. Love,Melanie

We had the best dinner tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A nice woman in our ward brought us the best dinner tonight. We also went on a good walk. I do not want the dang time to change tonight though. What a bummer. I like to sleep and sleep and get up when I want to. Of course isn't that everybody's dream. fact: there is a tribe of athletes in Burma called the Intha that row their longboats with their legs. Friday is a special day,,,,
Gary and I walked all around our subdivision this afternoon, it really was fun. Gary told me that the garbage man yelled and cussed him out this morning for having placed the cans too close to each other, also he asked Gary who in the heck ate so much yogurt (hat was in the recycle can) like it was any of that guys business. Gary was quite upset as you can imagine. He said that he would like to bop him on the head for that, besides he said the cans were perfectly in line. That was a big trauma today. Dad called the city and told them the story and that apolized all over the place. Gary was then very happy!!!!!!!!!!!! We have some action in our neighborhood once in a while. Good luck Marissa on picking where you will be most happy. I love you all , but am semi-depressed about all this moving around talk. You are all adults now, so be sure and pray. Love, Nona and Farmer

Pioneerrr children sang as they walked and walked
This is what I feel like lately. The primary song about Pioneer children walking and walking and walking.... the only thing is that I truly am thankful that I can walk and walk. You really do not appreciate the fact that you are able to walk, at least I really didn't!!!!! Dad started a facebook for me today and then I got a phone call from Ashlee saying that she didn't know that I was a bi-sexual person, Dad soon edited the form for me. How embarassing. I wonder how I will do with the facebook. I love and appreciate all you have done for me and also dad. But please pray about those of you who are considering moving. I moved alot as a child, and the one thing I missed the most were my grandparents and especially my first cousins, that is something that you can never make up. I love and trust your decisions, and so does dad. We love you all, Nona and Farmer

Well, it is Wednesday already
Today has been a little different, Dad installed a security system in the house, it has all the bells and whistles. The doors, windows and motion detectors are all in place. It makes me feel so much safer. Remember the one in Huntsville. I don't think that we ever turned it on, or even knew how. This one is easy and faster to use. So don't try anything devious or tricky okay, you will be caught!!!!!! I went for two walks today, it seems to be getting easier each day. I love each of you and please keep both 'dad and I in your prayers. We can feel the blessings. Write you all tomorrow. Love, Nona and Farmer

Tuesday, a whole week home now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dad and I walked around the whole subdivision together today, it felt so good, even though it was kind of cold. Spencer you are a good brother to help Aimee and her children. We are proud of you. I can get in and out of bed a little easier, so that is nice. Gary finally got his new Christmas teeth this week , he looks rather dashing. I looked in the mirror today.(don't I always) and thought I am looking rather old. I need Dan to touch me up in a photo or really real life. We love and miss you all so much. Love, Nona and Farmer

It is finally Monday.....
Dad and
gary did errands this morning , so I just switched sides in bed a few times while they weere gone. It is kind of a helpless feeling to just have a phone around you. I think if someone broke in here and saw me, they would quickly drop me and run. I took another walk tonight with Dad. It surely is quiet without Spencer here. We miss him. My steri-strips are starting to come off my back, I guess that means that I am getting better, which I am. I love you all. Maybe I can think of something innteresting to tell you tomorrow. Love, Nona and Farmer

Sunday the 7th of March
I wasn't able to make the trip to church, I had Dad stay home with me so that if I needed help. he could help me. I walked down and around the street with dad. It was fun, just lightly sprinkling. My kind of day. Thank all of you for your prayers. I love you and am so glad that we have such wonderful children. Love, Nona and Farmer

Turning in bed
Mom is doing better every day. Today, she walked outside for 10 minutes. Mom likes to turn from side to side in bed every 3 hours so we spend most of our time tucking pillows in just right. Mom has taken such good care of me through all my hospital stays that it is nice to be able to pay her back, just a little. It was 67 degrees today.

MOM IS HOME
It was a painful ride home but we made it. Only stopped twice. Both times I had to go in and stand in the girls bathroom with mom. I learned one thing, They keep the girls bathrooms cleaner than the boys.
I want to thank so much all you who stayed with mom or helped us in any way. We love you and your families who supported you. "When you are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God". Thanks again, Love, Dad
